Code of Conduct

At CoROM, we are committed to fostering a supportive and respectful learning environment that promotes academic excellence, diversity, and personal growth. Our Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations that all members of the college community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors, are expected to uphold.

  • Respect for All Individuals
    • Treat every member of the college community with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.
    • Avoid discrimination, harassment, or any form of bullying. CoROM is an inclusive and welcoming community.
  • Academic Integrity
    • Uphold the highest standards of academic honesty and integrity.
    • Do not engage in plagiarism, cheating, or any other form of academic misconduct.
  • Classroom Etiquette
    • Attend online and in-person sessions regularly and be punctual.
    • Participate actively and respectfully in classroom discussions.
    • Focus on learning environment during sessions.
  • Professional Behavior
    • Dress appropriately for academic, clinical and professional settings.
    • Show professionalism in your interactions with faculty, staff, and fellow students.
  • Privacy and Confidentiality
    • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others, both within and outside of the college community.
  • Social Responsibility
    • Contribute positively to the local and global community by engaging in volunteer work and community service.
  • Environmental Responsibility
    • Be mindful of your environmental impact and make efforts to reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote sustainability.
  • Compliance with College Policies
    • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all college policies, including those related to academic programs, clinical requirements, financial matters, and conduct.
  •  Conflict Resolution
    • Resolve conflicts and disputes through open and constructive communication.
    • Seek assistance from appropriate college authorities when needed.
  • Inclusivity and Diversity
    • Embrace diversity and promote an inclusive environment where individuals of all backgrounds feel valued and supported.
  • Community Involvement
    • Participate in college events, student organizations, and extracurricular activities to build a sense of belonging and foster a strong community.
  • Accountability
    • Recognize that actions have consequences, and individuals who violate this Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary measures.

By enrolling or being a part of the CoROM community, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in appropriate actions, including warnings, educational interventions, probation, or, in severe cases, suspension or expulsion.

We encourage all members of the CoROM community to take ownership of this Code of Conduct and actively contribute to maintaining the college’s positive and inclusive atmosphere. Together, we can create an environment that supports learning, personal development, and academic achievement.
