The ARMEA is a review course for medical professionals working on aeromedical platforms for patient retrieval.
This course covers some of the medical emergencies that a delegate may see whilst working in this environment.
This online course can be used as a stand-alone CPD course. The United Nations are currently using this CPD course to meet their requirements for aeromedical evacuation training.
This CPD course is also the first part of the Diploma of Aeromedical Retrieval Medicine for Extreme Altitude. In order to earn the Diploma, delegates must complete the following requirements:
- Pass this online CPD course
- Complete at least six weeks of clinical experience in Tanzania on the Kilimanjaro Search and Rescue helicopter.
