CoROM IREC MEMBERS

CoROM IREC is composed of eight members.

This number is higher than the five members for a committee meeting (and a minimum of three members is required for a quorum). This structure ensures the committee can still hold a valid meeting and make decisions even if a member has to withdraw from the process due to conflict of interest.

All members are required to declare any conflicts of interest. By having more members than the required quorum, the committee can exclude members with a potential conflict of interest from a specific decision-making meeting while still maintaining the necessary number of members to proceed.
