Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre

KCMC is located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is forty minutes from the regional airport (JRO). It is a 630 bed hospital and the largest in Northern Tanzania.

Moshi, Tanzania is a safe, English speaking, Christian town. There are over 1000 expats that are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on any given day. Moshi has a huge expat population and hosts many excellent restaurants. There are good B&B accommodation options close to KCMC hospital for around USD$30 per night.

There are several US and EU universities who have signed agreements similar to what CoROM has signed with KCMC. Duke University is the largest and they have many medical students doing six month clinical rotations at KCMC that counts towards their four year medical degree.
